I haven't spent much time debugging this since I have other work to do, but my hunch is that Endpoint is having issues 'phoning home'. Would really like to find a solution other than rebooting OSX. Edit: I spent a little more time looking at this and found that if you attempt to kill the scep_ctl process you end up in the ' Connot connect to /tmp/scep.sock' state. Kill off the other scep_ processes like scep_dameon does not fix the issue.
