And Curren$y seems like a ideal match with similar flows and tastes in beats, so it made sense they would link up and do a full project together after a few tracks like “Scottie Pippen.” Fetti is their new collaborative album, produced by Alchemist, who brings the album to life. 22 months in the making, Fetti has been a long time coming and it has been worth the wait. At nine songs and 23 minutes, Freddie Gibbs and Curren$y are going for quality over quantity. This isn’t a stacked with filler, but a concise record that covers what it needs to and leaves the listener with that dual feeling of being satisfied, but still wanting more.
